Research Director, Bioinformatics, for the Genome Canada Pathogenomics Project.
Coordinator of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa Community Annotation Project and Pseudomonas Genome Database.
Co-Lead, Bioinformatics for Combating Infectious Diseases (BCID) project.
Adjunct Member of the UBC Centre for Disease Control (BC Centre for Disease Control, Vancouver).
SFU representative for the Canadian Society of Microbiologists.

MBB 441 (Bioinformatics) and MBB 841/741 (Bioinformatics) are both offered in the Fall semester of each year.
MBB505 (Problem Based Learning in Bioinformatics) is offered jointly with UBC every Spring term.
